About this tool
Generate the Cartesian product in entered order; the last attribute changes fastest. Preview the count before generation. Within one rule, all selected values must match. A match of any rule excludes that combination. Any value is a wildcard; each rule needs at least one selected value. Overlapping rules exclude a combination once. Removing every combination is rejected.
Common uses
- Color Red/Blue × Size S/L × Material Cotton/Wool gives 8 combinations. Exclude Blue AND L: 2 excluded, 6 retained, from P-Red-S-Cotton to P-Blue-S-Wool with prefix P- and separator -.
- A/AB × BC/C with empty prefix and separator creates ABC at original indexes 1 and 4; generation rejects the naming collision. Explicitly excluding AB AND C leaves 3 unique SKUs.
How to use it
- 1.Name each attribute and enter distinct values, one per line. Check the original combination count.
- 2.Set prefix/separator and select exclusion conditions. All selections in one rule match together; any matching rule excludes.
- 3.Generate, inspect counts and unique identifiers, page through the preview and optionally save full protected CSV. Import identifiers as text.
Limits and notes
- 1–6 attributes, 1–20 distinct values each; names/values/prefix ≤24 UTF-16 units, value text ≤512 units. At most 1000 original combinations before exclusions, 20 rules, SKU ≤192 units/512 UTF-8 bytes, CSV ≤2 MiB. Preview 50 rows per page.
- Values and nonempty prefixes start with a Unicode letter or number, followed by letters, numbers, combining marks, . _ or -. Separators contain only . _ -, or can be empty. Comparison is exact and case-sensitive; no trimming or Unicode normalization. Generated SKU uniqueness does not check any sales catalog or platform rules.
- Within one rule, all selected values must match. A match of any rule excludes that combination. Any value is a wildcard; each rule needs at least one selected value. Overlapping rules exclude a combination once. Removing every combination is rejected.
- Browser-local; no network or saved input. CSV contains the entered attributes and SKU identifiers. Editing any input or changing language clears results and export availability. UTF-8 BOM, CRLF and quoted cells; spreadsheet-leading formula characters are apostrophe-protected. Fixed English index/sku and attribute_N_name/value columns retain entered names and values. Original indexes can have gaps after exclusions. Import SKU and value columns as text to preserve 001 and other identifiers; quoting alone does not force spreadsheet types.
Frequently asked questions
Can exclusions make a huge product acceptable?
The original product exceeds 1000 combinations. Reduce attributes or values; exclusions do not bypass this limit.
How are exclusion rules combined?

How are duplicate SKU names handled?
No duplicate SKUs among retained combinations. Naming collisions reject the entire generation and identify both original combination indexes.
