About this tool
Read UTF-8 vCard 3.0/4.0 files in batches, inspect empty fields and duplicate candidates, then export selected contacts to CSV or original VCF cards.
Common uses
- Convert contacts from several address books into a CSV table.
- Find missing phones or emails and manually review duplicate candidates.
How to use it
- 1.Select UTF-8 VCF files and inspect the contact table.
- 2.Review empty fields and duplicate candidates; select contacts to keep.
- 3.Export CSV or VCF containing complete original selected cards.
Limits and notes
- Up to 50 files, 8 MiB total and 2,000 contacts; each line is limited to 65,536 characters.
- Only UTF-8 vCard 3.0/4.0 is supported. Version 2.1, ENCODING parameters and non-UTF-8 charsets are explicitly rejected.
- Candidates share an email or phone number. Names alone are never matched, contacts are never automatically merged, and country codes are not inferred.
- CSV includes common fields; VCF preserves all fields and folded lines of selected cards, normalizing line endings to CRLF.
Frequently asked questions
Are contacts with the same name merged?
No. A shared name is not a match. Shared emails or normalized phone numbers produce candidates only; every original contact remains available for manual selection.
Will fields outside the table be lost?
CSV contains name, phones, emails, organizations, addresses and source. VCF export preserves every field of the selected original cards.
