About this tool
Generate reproducible integer arithmetic exercises from the same seed and settings, with a separate answer page.
Common uses
- Create bounded arithmetic practice for a class or at home.
- Recreate an exercise sheet using its seed and settings, with a separate answer key.
How to use it
- 1.Set the title, seed, question count, operand maximum, operations and subtraction policy.
- 2.Generate and inspect the sandboxed worksheet preview and separate answer key.
- 3.Export HTML, open it in your browser, and check print preview before printing.
Reproducible examples
Three addition questions
Random seed=42; Question count=3; Operand maximum=20; Operations=Addition
Answer key: 26, 32, 25
Seed42, count3, maximum20, addition: 10+16=26, 17+15=32, 12+13=25. The answers appear on a separate page.
Three integer divisions
Random seed=7; Question count=3; Operand maximum=12; Operations=Division
Answer key: 1, 1, 1
Seed7, count3, maximum12, division: 7÷7=1, 5÷5=1, 7÷7=1. Repeated questions are possible.
Limits and notes
- 1–100 questions; operand maximum 1–1000; seed 0–4294967295. Use ASCII integer digits. Title: at most 80 characters, without control or directional override characters.
- The negative-answer setting applies only to subtraction. Division has a nonzero divisor and an integer answer; operands stay within the selected maximum. Multiplication answers can exceed that maximum.
- Questions are generated with replacement and may repeat. The seed is for reproducibility, not security; different seeds need not produce different worksheets.
- Generated locally. No uploads, remote resources or saved history. The preview is sandboxed and the exported HTML contains no scripts.
Frequently asked questions
Will the same seed reproduce my sheet?
Questions are generated with replacement and may repeat. The seed is for reproducibility, not security; different seeds need not produce different worksheets.
Are division answers always integers?
The negative-answer setting applies only to subtraction. Division has a nonzero divisor and an integer answer; operands stay within the selected maximum. Multiplication answers can exceed that maximum.
How does printing work?
Export the HTML, then open it in your browser and print. The answer key starts on a new printed page; long worksheets may span several pages. Check your browser print preview and paper settings.
